Had the wildest time Saturday night. We were supposed to go on a boat trip but the typhoon kept all ships at Bay. No worries as we went to the infamous and exclusive Cipriani's to start off the night. Joyce and my social secretaries Chris and Kelly planned a wild ride of a night...
Dinner was Fab. Cip's has very good service. They keep filling your glass and you never have to ask for anything. An insightful staff. The appetizers are really good. Lot's of Prosciutto and Carpaccio for 1 dish. Mains were a little disappointing. Specifically my steak was a little overcooked and not hot. Although, when I went with Joyce last time, the lobster spaghetti was very good and the beef medallions were excellent as well. I had dessert last time with Joyce, and they are on the okay level.
Joyce ordered me cupcackes with my face on them. How lovely indeed. It was really funny to see my face turned into icing.
With a strong buzz, we headed over to Kee. Again a great time. Was surprised with the turn out. About 75ish showed up? Seeing as how it was pouring, I felt so lucky to see all my bestest friends, old and new.
A slightly sad feeling not being able to celebrate with the NY crowd. But they better watch out as I'll be there early August!
Kee was fun, and I am sure all the friends got some nasty pics of me pretty buzzed. I think I drank in the teens of drinks and shots.
To all who showed, thanks for a fun and memorable night.
