DELF(digital entertainment leadership forum)
Well, it is no surprise that the future of entertainment is going digital. HD cameras, animations, visual effects, video games, film, television, is all converging...And it's great to be at the heart of it.
Getting a chance to see who the leaders are and what is going on has got me psyched!!
We need to finish our new short(Me, actor, Producer, Cedrick Chan Director, Visual Fx supervisor) coming out that combines Video game environments, live action, and a miriad of tools involving blue screen tech. We'll be launching the production blog...so lookout for more...
Met Michael Stephens(lawyer from New Zealand who helped Peter Jackson start up his stuff). Interesting to hear how it all gets produced from his point of view...Jonathon Edwards, a producer from Happy Feet,...Victor Wong, Head of Menfond...(if I am getting these names please forgive me...)..hey I bought Dead or Alive to check out the Visual Fx they did...Paul, exec from Business Dev at Imagi previewed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Raw Clips,... and a bunch of other very important emerging leaders.
In and out of this I was of course back and forth to the office.
